Dr. Maya Angelou Dies at 86

This morning we learned that Dr. Maya Angelou passed away peacefully this morning in her home.  The renowned poet and author left a legacy of truth telling about cultural ills faced by African Americans and more.  She told her own story and gave legitimacy to so many others who struggled silently.
